Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox's parents are Dorothy Fharquharson and Thomas Allison Lennox. Dorothy Farquharson, and Thomas Allison Lennox were her parents. Lennox was admitted to the Royal Academy of Music in London in the 70s, where she studied the flute piano and the harpsichord over three years. Lennox was able to live by surviving on a student stipend, as she worked part-time. Lennox, while studying in the Royal Academy of Music in London, was unhappy in her performance when compared to that of her classmates. She began considering alternatives. Lennox performed flute in the 1976 group called Dragons Playground. The band did not get to compete in the talent contest New Faces on I.T.V. She was the lead singer for The Tourists (a British popband) between 1977 and 1980. In this band, she met Dave Stewart who would later create Eurythmics. Lennox was then able to begin work on her first solo album Diva that was out by 1992. It was a massive success both commercially and critically. Nostalgia Lennoxs 6th solo album debuted in October 2014. The C.D. Lennox chose her favourite blues and soul songs. Lepidoptera features four keyboard tracks. The E.P. The E.P. is her debut independent album and a companion to the art installation she made at Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art named Now I Let You Go... Annie Lennox is a Scottish artist and singer born on December 25, 1954. The Tourists were a new-wave group who had some recognition in the 1970s. Then, she became a part of the band with fellow singer-songwriter Dave Stewart to form the pop duo Eurythmics. Lennox began her solo musical career in 1992 by releasing the album Diva. The album featured a variety of popular songs including the hit song Walking On Broken Glass and Why. Medusa the 1995 studio album, features the cover versions of some popular songs such as No More I Love Yous andA Whiter Shade of Pale. She has released six solo studio and compilation albums.
