Josie Davis

Josie Davis was born in Hollywood, California. She is an actor and a writer. Davis began her career as a child at three years old, starring in numerous television commercials. She was cast as an episode regular while she was just a child in the popular television series, Charles In Charge. The show was the top-rated in the syndication ratings. Josie was nominated three times and received the prestigious Youth in Film Award for her performance as Sarah Powell. In her adult years and as the actor in many television series, Davis won 2 Lifetime Movie Network awards. Davis was a student of actor Paul E Richards intensively for over twenty years, despite the fact that she would enroll in USC's highly acclaimed Writing Program. In the age group of forty-four, Davis auditioned for Hollywood famous actors, Shelley Winters, Mark Rydell and Martin Landau. Davis was the only one who done one audition in the renowned Actors Studio with privileges of being employed there, was made a lifetime member after a callback. Davis was the only one of two actors accepted into the Actors Studio that year.
